Freaky, Festive, Finally Friday!

Wow time flies when you forget what day it is.  Oops!  I got a lot done last night though.  I started/finished a tutu for a friend, finished two birthday cards for family, and finished the CTMH small albums for my mom and my in-laws.  Pretty excited about the holiday season.  Not only do I get to bake and give presents to friends and family, but my best friend/husband should be home from a 6 month deployment here soon.  Single mother of two?  No thank you, still don't know how my mom did it with three kids.  Good job mom!  She's always been my hero.  Well here's some pictures of things I finished last night and some that i've been working on.

This tutu is for a friend here in Japan.  I like this one a lot.
I think I like it so much because it reminds me of a peacock.  :)
Made with: Turqouise, Lime Green, Green, Purple, and Light Purple tulle.

A birthday card I made for my niece's 18th birthday.
The yellow card stock (unknown brand) is dry embossed by Sizzix background template.  The patterned paper is from Stampin' up.  "Happy Birthday" stamp is CTMH Fringed Phrases.  Stamped with Archival Black ink from CTMH.  Jewels are from CTMH.  Ribbon unknown brand.

Here is her (my niece's) gift for her 18th Birthday.
The album is an MDF album from Kaisercraft.  The silver rings are from local office supply store.  Ribbons and tulle to match.  Paper is from Kaisercraft and Stampin' up.  Jewels/pearls are from CTMH, Kaisercraft.  Rubbons from stash.  Emboss ink Judikins Lime Twinkle.

Past Crafts: First couple attempts at Tutu making.

This one was made with shocking pink, light pink, and chocolate brown tulle.  It actually sold on Etsy.
Pretty excited since it was my first item sold on Etsy.
This tutu was made with lime green, green, and turquoise tulle.
This tutu was also sold on Etsy with the one above.

This is made with red, shimmer black, and shimmer white tulle.

All of these were made to fit a newbown.  I love all babies in tutus.  A tutu can make any baby look cute.
Here's my little one in a tutu.
My little Zoey.  She really needs some hair on top!

First Ever!

Here is my first ever blog.  It's pretty exciting!

Life in Japan has been pretty mundane due to my husband being deployed.  He will soon be returning to us.  He still hasn't met his new baby girl.  Thomas is my son, he is 19 months and Zoey is my new baby girl and she is 3 months old.  So needless to say i'm pretty busy with my two.

Today was filled with shopping at the commissary and an ice cream social to pick names for the
upcoming squadron Christmas party.

On another not i'm feeling really crafty but don't really have the time or ability to do much in line for crafts.  My most recent thing is a tutu for a friend to give for Christmas.  I will be posting some past items that i've done for others.  Hope you like.
There will be more to come.
